Eventually, they will have to cave if they ever want to see a Republican speaker. This is what the Fraud Squad should have done in 2018 and 2020, except they are cowards and suck ups to the status quo.

Second, no Republican Representative (not member), let alone six of them, will ever vote for a Democratic Speaker of the House. They would be immediately kicked out of the Republican Party, and then lose their next election, if they did not resign before that. You must have missed that day when this was taught in seventh grade civics class.

Get educated by retaking seventh grade civics class. The kids may laugh at you for not knowing the answers to simple questions. But that is an incentive for you to finally learn what you should have learned the first time around.

  18.  @cdreid9999  Remember the movie 'Office Space' where they didn't fire the guy, they just stopped paying him and moved his desk to the basement storeroom. They even took his red stapler. Of course, it works a little bit differently in Congress, you lose all of your committees, most of your staff funding, your nice office and close by parking space. They can make life a living hell for anyone foolish enough to vote for the other party.
