  3. I remember in the 70s when the US tried to prevent Chinese steel from entering the country with tariffs. Today, the US produces very little new steel. Meanwhile, China is now the steel producer for the world!

  4.  @luisricardoborges  Calling the US, "America," has been an acceptable colloquialism since the US Constitution was ratified. Even Canadians and Mexicans refer to the US as America. Like so many other words, the word "America" has more than one meaning. You can tell the difference by the context in which it is used. Even third graders understand this. Why don't you?
