  6. Spanish has much less of that elision thing you’re describing. It’s much more a case of ‘pronounce what you see’ with Spanish; whereas French is a linguistic Wild-West for the foreign learner where very often it’s a case of ‘ don’t pronounce what you see’. French, for the foreign learner, in this aspect, is much tougher.
