  1. Look, the easiest way to settle this debate as to whether Zaragoza is in the north of Spain or not: Extreme point north is 43’47 N and extreme point south (on the mainland) is 36’00. Zaragoza? 41’65. Therefore, I hereby declare (drumroll) … that Zaragoza is indisputably *NORTH*. It feels vaguely south, however, and methinks this is due to the Islamic heritage redolent in many of its most signature buildings.
