  3. Putin is patently a paranoid, sociopathic control-freak to whom no one seems to have said ‘no’ in 22 years, and suddenly about 35 million Ukrainians are saying ‘no’ to him and his hitherto unchallenged fantasies have just met hard, cold reality.
