What’s confusing about this whole situation is that it’s possible to both condemn the Hamas attacks and think Israel has been more than heavy-handed in its response to October 7th. It’s possible to support Palestinian freedom from Israeli state oppression without being antisemitic just as it’s possible to support Israel against Islamist aggression without being anti-Muslim. These 2 things are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Too many folk are either one thing or t’other in this conflict when it’s possible to be both/and.

@xyzcord ⁠⁠That’s wishful thinking, m8. There’s no way Hamas were ever gonna release the hostages, or leave Gaza. That’s why we’re still here talking about this today! Truth is, vast majority here would support a 2-state solution, I’m sure. Palestine and Israel, with a shared capital in Jerusalem. How many more have to needlessly die before we achieve this? 🤦‍♂️
