Including in 2014 in Ukraine itself. Also, I don’t condone Putin’s actions in Ukraine one iota. However, he is doing precisely nothing America and her partners haven’t been doing for decades. It constantly bemuses me how the west completely and utterly ignores the buckets of foreign blood they have spilt, while pointing the finger at the likes of Putin. The double standards hypocrisy is staggering as Putin is merely apeing the geopolitical modus operandi of the west and simply playing the tune it has been playing since at least 1492. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

@Max-kd2gh I agree. I don’t support Putin, in the same way I didn’t support America and her partners behaving in precisely the same self-interested way. Sometimes the truth stings, and stings bad. This is one of those times. The west needs a long, hard look in the mirror before it starts flinging stones at anyone from inside its glass-house. We have no leg to stand on judging anyone when it comes to actually invading and/or overturning democratically-elected governments from within; precisely what Putin is attempting now.

@elleygray02776 My problem? Not my problem, sunshine. I’m fully aware of the egregious double-standards of the west. Would that my fellow ‘westerners’ were equally aware and then we could stop hearing all this stuff and nonsense about the mad, evil dictator Putin, as if America and her partners haven’t been just as equally dictatorial and just as equally evil. He’s evil alright, but in my book he’s doing absolutely nothing the west hasn’t been doing for centuries.
