Personally, I have no intrinsic issue with the existence of Israel; however, you don’t need to be Nostradamus to see that it was obvious that it would be more or less permanently targeted from day 1 after its 1948 creation, due to the way it was done and where it is. Isaac Asimov nailed this: I remember how it was in 1948 when Israel was being established and all my Jewish friends were ecstatic, I was not. I said: what are we doing? We are establishing ourselves in a ghetto, in a small corner of a vast Muslim sea. The Muslims will never forget nor forgive, and Israel, as long as it exists, will be embattled. I was laughed at, but I was right. I can’t help but feel that the Jews didn’t really have the right to appropriate a territory only because 2000 years ago, people they consider their ancestors were living there. History moves on and you can’t really turn it back.

You 👉 It sounds like you’re trying to make a case for Zionism based on the premise that the contentions between Israel and the Arabs are primarily due to religious beliefs. You also mentioned that there are more Muslim-majority countries than Jewish states. Establishing an ethno-state is not a fundamental right under international law. Prior to Mandatory Palestine and the founding of a Jewish state, the three Abrahamic faiths shared Jerusalem and peacefully coexisted for centuries. The Israel-Palestine conflict began relatively recently. The dispute isn’t complicated, nor is it solely due to Judaism versus Islam. It primarily (sic) a territorial dispute and military occupation with claims of apartheid blah blah, blah, blah, blah … Here’s a 🪞. Take a look at yourself. 👍😉

  9. All this is ultimately futile. Yes, you can get rid of those who currently loathe you, but you can’t get rid of the ideas that motivated these individuals in the first place and these will just be passed like a baton to the next generation. The amount of bad karmic seeds Israel has sown these past 3 months will torment it for decades to come.
