Ukraine should be doing more of this. Not purposefully targeting civilians but hitting spaces in Russia which will plant a few seeds of doubt in the Russian populace vis-a-vis their apparent unswerving (mainly) support for the Russian cause. After all, why shouldn’t Ukraine be allowed to directly hit Moscow? Russia has been directly hitting Kyiv since day 1 of this war. What’s always been a bit mystifying in this conflict is how Putin/Russia get all hoity toity when they experience a direct hit on their land, yet they are seemingly allowed to hit Ukraine with impunity. Last time I checked, in a boxing match both fighters are allowed to throw punches.

@mephistosprincipium Nah. I say if Ukraine can hit Moscow a few times, that might end this thing quicker than expected. The fact Putin today was saying he hasn’t ruled out peace talks, suggests his stomach for this thing is not as big as it once might have been. Imo, Putin’s fatal mistake from day 1 was to overestimate how amenable his “Slavic cousins” in Ukraine would be towards his aggressive intrusions. I have dozens of cousins and a fair few of them I have no time for.
