Thing people often get mistaken is that the SNP is synonymous with Scottish independence; it is not. Yes, their raison d'être as a Party is independence, but even if the SNP vanished tomorrow, there would still be a steady 40-49% of Scots in favour of independence. I say this as a Scot who is an independence “agnostic” and undecided one way or t’other on the issue. My feeling is, however, that Scottish independence, like a united Ireland, is only a matter of time. It will happen, but perhaps not in the short/medium-term.

@RobGordon35 I am being honest and I have familiarised myself with the facts and I’m still an agnostic about Scottish independence, in much the same way I’m an agnostic about God.
