It’s a simulation. Obviously they couldn’t film the real thing unless they had a separate vehicle.

“My people” - that’s exactly the kind of talk that has caused all our problems these past 300,000 years. 🤦♂️

@exmuslimkhalid138 No offence taken. 👍Just find talk of “my people” dangerous, stupid and primitive, but certainly not offended.

@rpatel3935 To even suggest belendtens has a mind is stretching it somewhat.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), which distributes aid, sent India £33.4 million in aid cash in 2022/23. But the FCDO's annual report, published this week, reveals that the total is set to rise to £57 million in 2024/25. Unlucky, Jimbo. 😉

While this is a decent technical achievement, a much better achievement would be to prevent the death of the 7,000 Indians who die of avoidable hunger/malnutrition every day. Then perhaps think about sending spaceships to investigate a bunch of rocks and some ice.

@direwolf7491 Lol. If you can’t see it, you’re a bit thick. “My people” implies there are people who aren’t my people, and outgrouping, either by accident of birth or religion has been the greatest cause of humanity’s problems.

What? You clearly have never been to India if you see more beggars here than there. India is, quite literally, crawling with deeply poor beggars.

@hrieyansh Wow! You boys over there are changing your ethnicities faster than we’re changing our genders over here! 🤣

@Robespierre-lI Huh? Lol. I think you have the wrong person! Agnostic anti-nationalist here.👍

@elbonia4682 Disagree. Get the basics right before you start shooting for the stars. If this were a mission to other planets or star systems, then I might be more persuaded. But to the moon? When your country is literally crawling with the result of deep poverty? Really? Is this the best use of limited resources? Strikes me as a case of running before you can walk.

@elbonia4682 UK.

@elbonia4682 I’d call thousands dying every week of avoidable hunger/malnutrition more than a “few problems”. If you want to be so flippant and insouciant about that situation then that is your prerogative. Perhaps you wouldn’t be so apparently carefree about the situation if it were you who were starving. I would be saying the same here btw. If we had people literally dying of hunger I would be calling for that to be sorted before we blast rockets into Space. In the case of India, the will clearly isn’t there in terms of feeding its whole population adequately. If it were, you wouldn’t be sending rockets to the moon, but making sure everyone was properly fed. This is surely about priorities. Life and death priorities.

@mithunkundu7229 I do care for the homeless in my country. I have worked for a homeless charity for over 20 years.👍

@tharunsat Yeah, but there’s poverty and there’s poverty . The average Brit is far more well off than the average Indian. Moreover, Britain doesn’t have thousands dying of hunger every year.
