Letting aid in is the only humane thing to do. There are tens of thousands of Palestinians who don’t support Hamas and certainly wouldn’t have supported their barbaric terrorist attack on Israel (leaving aside the wholly innocent children). To want to starve to death thousands of innocents in the name of the horrific actions of the few is not something I support.

@Roy_Osovsky That may be so, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stop trying to help innocents caught in the crossfire here through zero fault of their own. There are about 1 million Palestinians 16 and under who didn’t vote for Hamas back in 2006. Even if they did, I would still be in favour of humanitarian aid in this case, no questions asked.

@Roy_Osovsky Yeah, but too many people are ensconced in their tribal camps here. I think Hamas’ attack was outrageous, barbaric and unforgivable but I also think Israel’s response has taken far, far too many innocent lives in their putative quest to “defend” themselves. It’s the old using a sledgehammer to crack a nut scenario that the Israeli state is a past master in. It helps to have absolutely zero skin in the game in these kinds of situations in order to see them for what they are.

@Roy_Osovsky Indeed, it’s not black and white, but the ongoing storm everywhere online is anything but not black and white as everyone seems to be ABSOLUTELY for one side or t’other.
