This must an American thing. I don’t why this video is here. We all have ‘voices’ we put on in certain professional scenarios. There was nothing even startling about this dude’s different voice. Confused.

@mellowmoons_2158 I didn’t hear a ‘startling difference’. His ‘professional’ voice just sounded regular and there was nothing remarkable about his ‘real’ voice. As I say, this could be a black American thing. A kind of in-joke.

@sprout5606 ‘Deep voices are less likely to make people feel comfortable on the phone’. Huh? 🤔 Isn’t it the other way round and high-pitched voices are the ones that set folks on edge? I’m confused by this. Here in the UK, deep Scottish accents are seen as the most trustworthy. Think Sean Connery. High-pitched stuff is seen as suspect. The voices in this case don’t even seem that different.
