While what he said to Feltz was crass and unfunny, it wasn’t criminal. He may have offended her (and others) but no harm was done here. All I’m interested in here is simple: has Brand committed any crimes? On that, the jury is still out. Just for the record: one of her daughters was born in 1986 and the other, 1989. That would make them 19/20 and 16/17 at time of recording.

@crystalaustralia Nah, disagree. It’s freedom of speech. No incitement to violence. No real transgression. No crime. Totally unfunny and crass and offensive to many, yes, but that’s no reason to step in and censor. This was telly. Just switch it off if you don’t like it, and if someone says it in your company just call them out there and then if you feel the need, but don’t police others’ speech on behalf of others just because you happen to be offended.

@ivorbiggen2251 Yes, I personally would have no real issue with the words. If those words turned into actions and he started pawing my wife/girlfriend against her will, then that’s where a line is crossed for me personally.

@ElvisLivesUpstairs The reason I mentioned the ages was Feltz said her daughter was 15. Age of consent in UK is 16.👍
