All that matters here is has Brand committed a crime? He may have ‘offended’ some people, been ‘inappropriate’ in his behaviour with others, but that’s not a criminal offence. All I’m interested in here is simple: has Brand broken the law? Personally, my own hunch is that he possibly has overstepped the mark when it comes to gaining full consent, but surely all this should be tried in the context of a court of law and not the court of social media, not least because if it ever does come to a criminal trial, there will be serious questions as to whether it could ever be fair, given the saturated media coverage.

@kevinb9830 I suppose what I was getting at was you can be with someone and it goes so far, and then one party doesn’t want it to go any further but the other party ignores this request.
