  1. Izzard can be funny, let’s get that out of the way for a start-off. However, like every other person who learns multiple languages, yes it’s in large part to learn these languages, but also in mighty large part to brag about having Iearned them. A kind of yah-boo sucks, intellectual one-upmanship, if you will. Like those who dodge meat, multilinguists (vegetarians) are not just happy being; they want the world to know that they ‘know’ languages (dodge meat).
