I hate to say this, but it wouldn’t surprise me if a supposed ‘rogue’ Russian missile finds its way into NATO territory, at some point. At that point: seek your nearest nuclear bunker. ☢️ I, for one, won’t. I’d rather go in the conflagration if surviving meant living in a nuclear winter.

@grayday8089 Perhaps. Something tells me, come what may, that NATO and the West will be drawn into this, and perhaps sooner than later. I’m no conspiracy theorist by nature, but something smells a little fishy here; almost as if the West was ‘destined’ to confront Putin/Russia militarily.

From Putin’s point of view he is doing precisely nothing inappropriate. I disagree with him, but he’s simply acting on his model of the world. As do we all.

@renatovonschumacher3511 Not sure it’s really to do with that. NATO, for me, is a bit of a red herring here. Putin, I feel, would’ve gone for Ukraine regardless of the NATO influence. As it is, he can use that as a pretext. However, like a spurned lover, he was going to go for Ukraine come what may as a fulfilment of his mad greater Russia project. At this point, at 70, all bets are off as he has nothing to lose and could go down in history (for those of us who are here to read it) as the man who instigated the obliteration of life on this planet as we know it, Jim.
