  1. While the choice of words by this cop was unfortunate, if we’re honest, we all know what he meant. If this dude hadn’t been wearing his kippah the copper wouldn’t have made the comment or even noticed him. In a way, the copper was actually trying to protect the dude from what he saw (rightly or wrongly) as potential aggression/violence towards him. The threat to arrest was totally out of order but my instinct is that this copper wasn’t being consciously (or even unconsciously) antisemitic.
