Look, can we all just be honest for one second here? Good. If anyone thinks that Ukraine is also not committing its own infringements of international wartime law then they are living in cloud-cuckoo land. As with the Russians, Ukrainians will be overstepping the bounds of law. Those of us who can see both sides here, can see this much at least.

@xaiano794 Look, anyone who is neutral here can raise their view above the partisan parapet, and all I would say is that I wouldn’t be so quick to weigh the Russians against the Ukrainians, and automatically assume that somehow the Ukrainians come out better. We don’t know, but I know this much: if I were a Ukrainian soldier defending my land, I know that almost certainly I would be driven to do stuff I wouldn’t dream of doing on an ordinary Sunday in peacetime. That’s all.

@Fluffyslippers128 We’re all only 3 meals away from murder. Given the right conditions, the veneer of ‘civilisation’ is liable to crack very easily and we descend to the amoral swamp.
