  1. Perhaps Russia’s biggest mistake in this whole sorry conflict, was to totally underestimate the power of home advantage. The Russians may have the big guns, but the Ukrainians seem to have the bigger, braver hearts.

Conventionally, it is quite clear looking at this for the past 8 weeks, that NATO would pulverise Russia rather swiftly. However, this is not just a visual impression, for NATO power is factually 10x that of Russia. Conventionally.
