What Israel has done these past 5 months is ultimately futile. Yes, you can get rid of those who currently loathe you, but you can’t get rid of the ideas that motivated these individuals in the first place and these will just be passed like a baton to the next generation. The amount of bad karmic seeds Israel has sown these past 5 months will torment it for decades to come. As Asimov said: I remember how it was in 1948 when Israel was being established and all my Jewish friends were ecstatic, I was not. I said: what are we doing?
