Whenever one sees this stuff, be it political or religious (in this case religiously political), I’m reminded of these words from Robert M Pirsig: “You are never dedicated to something you have complete confidence in. No one is fanatically shouting that the sun is going to rise tomorrow. They know it's going to rise tomorrow. When people are fanatically dedicated to political or religious faiths or any other kinds of dogmas or goals, it's always because these dogmas or goals are in doubt.” Amen.

That sounds vaguely sinister. I’m no Trump fan - far from it - but what’s it got to do with you how your family, friends and neighbours vote? Put the boot on the other foot; what might your Trump-supporting family, friends and neighbours think of your voting choices? It’s a democracy. Deal with it.

@Deb_BG You assume a lot there. People are complicated. Blatantly caricaturing and lazily generalising about masses of people you happen to disagree with is not worthy of the thinking person. I’m aware of many Trump voters who are all, some and none of those things you lazily list. Think on.
