  1. Can you imagine if the boot were on the other foot … an all-female, prehistoric, morally-benighted, primitive bunch of women dictated to all men in Afghanistan that they couldn’t be educated? There’d be a male uprising as they quite rightly wouldn’t tolerate such barbaric, stupid nonsense. As it is here, these women are incredibly brave, and as a man, I really do despair of the male of the species at times. We can be utterly dreadful specimens of humanity. Like here in Afghanistan.
