  4.  @andreas0101  Staking your identity in a random accident of birth you had no say in is deeply primitive. If you’re going to be proud of being born within random, abstract entities drawn on a map, go ahead. Count me out.

  5.  @pnwdweler4100  It’s random! If you’d been born anywhere else, you’d be ‘proud’ of that! In other words, it’s an irrational stance to favour an accident of birth which happened over one that didn’t. It’s also been the cause of so so much trouble these past 500,000 years. Families, clans, tribes, nations; you name it. Take pride in your self-motivated achievements if that’s your thing, not the fact that your mother plopped you out here and not over there, for that is clearly insane.
