Comments by "Kevin Smithwick" (@KSmithwick1989) on "Ukraine’s Plan to Unblock BAKHMUT Revealed!" video.
Not to mention the illogical idea of claiming to be against causing casualties. While also bombarding entire sections of the city with artillery.

Good luck getting an answer. This channel works on troll logic. Acting authoritative on a subject, while using memes. So if anything doesn't go your way. Then you fall back on "it's a joke" excuse.

@Chris Delaplante That's nonsensical reasoning. It's like claiming there was no decade long Soviet-Afghan War, because there was no enemy fighters on Soviet soil.
2
@deriznohappehquite In addition to the fact these are probably not even the real Ukrainian plans. Wagner is simply up the scenario to the Russian public. For the reasons you stated.

@Kiyoone About the Dubai thing. Why is the guy asking viewers for money and support. When he's busy burning money flying from Canada to Paris and Dubai. Not to mention, it's always sudden affecting the content during key events.
2
To be honest, Western support from the US is a certainty. Irregardless of what public opinion is. The cost factor is also not particularly high. When considering M1 Abrams and M2 Bradley is slated for replacement. Ukraine is basically a dumping ground to test concepts for various NGCV projects.

Russia has already deployed troops from those regions. The 200th Motor Rifle Brigade (Artic) was heavily depleted during the Khakiv Offensive. The highest level member killed was Maj. Leonid Belyakov. This was declared by the Governor of Murmansk.

@Toroidal Zeus And none of that changes what the OP said. How about addressing that.

So what if Ukraine actually captures it. Given Crimea is highly dependent on outside supplies.

@Alesis White Note that getting supplies to Crimea can easily become difficult if an escalation occurs in that section. A blockade can significantly be preferable to a direct attack. In regards to NATO/EU support, it borders nearly limitless when excluding political enthusiasm. It's an economic block with a collective GDP in excess of $40T. General bordem for the war or Ukraine sustaining millions of casualties is really the only realistic method of Russia and achieve victory. Although attrition is still a factor in Russia. As Soviet surplus is a diminishing resource, in terms of artillery and armored vehicles.

@TomC I doubt it, I've known people who've who been there. Most of the actual business is the energy sector. While this guy is originally a millitary historian. He probably just went as a flex and burned a bunch of Patreon money. Knowing the naive donors with cheer him on by going there. Without thinking, how the hell did this guy even afford going on YouTube revenue.

@[*(BTS)*]_KIM_TAEHYUNG--V Judging by the thumbnail, the creator looks like a fan of BBC.

@Fight For A Global First Amendment It was certainly also their equipment. That unit operates the newer T-80BVM, which entered service in 2017. The destroyed vehicles have been geolocated in their area of operation. The Russian Relikt ERA arrays make the easier to identify from the older Ukraine vehicles. https://youtu.be/GO6OUTELkjo

That's basically the same logic of Russia also. They feel entitled to surrounding countries despite offering no real economic or political incentives.

@Marie Tsuki What does a petty culture war have to do with Russia losing influence. Objectively, Russia can't leverage soft power due to a lack of surplus capital.
