I agree and would probably add that trending may also be viewer specific content...... Also due to adpocalypse the US may have greater content restrictions, which was a part of the culture war that's trending right now. I've noticed that corporates have being on a war path against creator content with the likes of Sony weaponising copyright strikes. It would make sense that YT has been targeted in the US particularly those main players in the culture war. BTW, Pence says war wars are on the way, more fun for everyone.
