@m.0605 Dead guy has nothing to do with the statement, he is simply one of the many consequences of refusing to address the problem.

Insane speeding goes on all over the area, driving only ten over is a traffic hazard since most vehicles are going 80-90 mph. People are fine with insanity, no one is willing to do what is necessary to control the problem,

@m.0605 I remember driving back home on I-540 one evening, almost dark in the pouring rain. Watching the oncoming traffic perhaps one out five vehicles had their lights on, same with the vehicles passing me at a rapid pace. Silly me, I was only going around 78 in the 70, just trying to avoid being a traffic obstruction. I passed no one,

@m.0605 As an American the most dangerous thing anyone does is go out and drive or ride in a motor vehicle. Each day we see the insanity of speed, reckless and distracted driving, so what is actually unnecessary is the annual toll of death and destruction.
