  1. I worked in corporate America my entire life, it's not unusual as a cost cutting measure to announce a 10% workforce reduction. This is something ALL Americans deal with, just because someone is a government employee that doesn't make them immune. One thing I do notice in all the scare articles about government employees losing their jobs, the organization is mentioned but never the actual jobs the affected persons were supposed to be doing.
