I've never been a fan of Snap-on, I don't like the way their ratchets feel in my hand, or the price. Sixty years ago I purchased a set of Craftsman to work on my car and have since inherited my grandfathers Craftsman, and my father's tools. In all those years I've only had one fail and that was my fault, but it was replaced at no charge. While traveling with my son we discovered the need to change the ball on the hitch and he didn't have the right tools with him, the nearest place was Harbor Freight so I bought two large wrenches. One broke, returned them both (what a hassle) and proceeded to an ACE hardware and bought two Craftsman, even though I had those sizes at home. My tools have been used, they are well worn but expect my grandsons will be able to make good use of them when the time comes. One tool, five generations of use,...
