  18. In the 70-80's I worked as a telephone repairman in Central Florida. The company did not have AC in the work trucks and on the occasion when a new truck was delivered with AC, it was removed. They did the same with radios, all trucks had them removed. Weather was just something to be endured, spent a lot of very hot days doing the job, key was to stay hydrated and that meant drinking WATER, not soda or energy drinks.
