  1. Not Tesla, but I remember being in a staff meeting where our VP stopped talking and took note of everyone on their laptop or phone. No one was fired but he did walk out and start taking away laptops and phones telling them to make an appointment to discuss getting them returned. The next meeting was more productive,... lol,

  6. Our department had a Canteen Coffee service, everyone that put in the designated monthly fee had unlimited coffee, others were requested to pay by the cup. When I got into a managers position I called it BS and expensed the entire annual coffee service. That got me a bit of pushback from certain people, but me being me I added free microwave popcorn.

  8. I'm retired now, but if I was still in the position of hiring people and someone came across my desk with Twitter on the resume,... it would go to the bottom of the circular file. I always reminded my staff, it is much harder to get rid of some useless turd once they are hired.
