  18. I spent my working life in communications. One government contract for comm gear had an error rate requirement of less that 1 bit error per million bytes to the 16 power. One of our guys applied that to a T1 (high speed at the time) and calculated that running at 100% it would take over a 1,000 years to push that amount of data to prove reliability. I never checked his figures but sounds typical of governement.

  34. To get most any criminal investigation moving it is necessary to start with low hanging fruit, crimes that are easy to investigate and prove. Those people will then take a deal to roll over on those above them where thing are a bit more complicated and wide spread. That evidence will lead to more and more evidence of criminal activity and eventually if followed through with continued pressure an investigation will get to the top with a preponderance of evidence of wrong doing. So where is the easiest place to start, I would point out the "Granny Harvest" which is the very base level of ballot harvesting. Everyone knows about the "Granny Harvest", and they all laugh about how easy it is to rake in the ballots from people who are unable to question what is being done in their name.
