  1. Lived in central Florida for many many years and NSB was always the calm getaway. However visits in recent years have been anything but calm and relaxing. The last one was three years ago (not spring time but November) and after that INSANITY we decided to NEVER return. Our son and family was living and working in NSB, but even they have given up and moved to NC. Used to be Daytona Beach was the wild party beach, NSB was family friendly, NOT any more.
