Shelley made arrangements to come over and pick up her stuff on a certain day. Shelley and her dad came over on an earlier day and started going through the stuff. George and her got into an argument and her dad jumped George as Shelley was hitting George. Shelley claimed that George had a gun and was threatening her and her father. When the police arrived, George cooperated with them. They handcuffed George and did not find a gun. There were witnesses, and one witness told the police that he had to pull Shelley's dad off of George. The police told George, Shelley and her dad that if anyone was arrested then they all would be arrested. No arrests were made and no charges were filed. One of the witnesses was Samantha Scheibe. The incident with George's ex girlfriend happened few months later. George Zimmerman's ex girlfriend was Samantha Scheibe. George and Samantha got into an argument and George and she called the police and told them that George pointed a gun at her. George put her out of the apartment and barricaded the front door. When the police arrived, George let them in and they didn't find him with a gun. George cooperated and was arrested. George posted a $9000 bond and was released. A short time later, Samantha recanted her story, and told the police that she didn't want to press charges. George was released and they got back together. There is no evidence that George Zimmerman did anything wrong. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. George Zimmerman got his gun and concealed carry license in 2009, because of a pitbull named "Big Boi". He got loose and cornered Shelly. The 2nd time the dog got loose, it frightened George's Mother-in-law's dog. George called the animal control and got pepper spray. The 3rd time that the dog got loose, George called animal control again and a police officer came to his house. The officer told George, "Don't use pepper spray, it will take 2 or 3 seconds to take effect, but a quarter of a second for the dog to jump you. Get a gun!" George Zimmerman has had a gun for 10 years and he has only shot one person, and that was only to save his own life.

About 15 seconds later, the dispatcher hearing wind noise asked George if he was following him and George said yeah. The dispatcher advised George that they didn't need him to do that. George said okay and stopped trying to follow in the direction that he had seen Trayvon run. George Zimmerman never followed or tried to follow Trayvon after that.
