Yeah, your falcons will get exploded, very quickly

I was thinking helmet covered in directional microphones. Multiple helmets and they all send data for triangulation to a central tablet computer, where you can direct fire from soldiers with a AR HUD over one eye

@sierraecho884 There's one slight problem with proximity shells and tench clearing and that's ensuring you're not in the blast zone when it triggers. Because if it explodes in a sphere of buckshot, since of that will be coming back towards the you. So careful design, engineering and user training is a must...

Radar bad idea, never radiate. Cos then the stone just homes in on the radio source

I was thinking semi-active something. Like radar but possibly more LiDAR ISH. You point an illumination source, an IR radar, with a very wide field of view. The mini missile looks on and fires while steering towards the illuminated target

I wonder what the best load would be. The smallest shot one would guess. BB sized. Extra long shells, extra short barrels. Net gun?

7:30 oh look! Net gun

6:51 Have a social helmet covered in a hemisphere of extremely directional microphones and an omni or two for doing background noise cancellation. Software, GPS and an Inertial Reference Platform and two earphones and an AR eyepiece that both direct you to the incoming drone. The AR eyepiece gives you 👈👉☝️👇 And eventually ❎ on where to shoot to hit the 🚁 highlighted drone

Also, in a base, you have at least 3 poles with these audio receivers mounted on top, talking to a central computer and directing the shotgunners. Make it tablet compatible so you don't need expensive military hardware to run it.

¼"?? That's way too big. Needs to be twelfth of an inch at most.

What about shooting saw blades or bolos at the fibre optic?
