I wonder how much of this is mental illness, drugs, or just someone being their authentic selves. That's not a joke because from what I've seen lately I believe there are people out there that are putting on an act, especially when they know our legal system often can't do much about it. We ever increasing numbers of crazy people, many more than we did just 10 years ago. This is not fair to our officers. My sympathies to the Deputy, his family, and the whole force.
