I've had a strong interest in the finding of the Titanic and all the excursions. I believed implosion was inevitable as soon as I heard the story because it already had been longer than a day under water. I was absolutely certain after seeing the images of Titan itself and heard the captain explaining how it was built. I feel bad for the 19 year old who lost his life due to the arrogance of his elders. Compare this to the construction of Dr. Ballard's and Cameron's subs, and the Russian and French subs, all state of the art, costing enormously more.
