  1. I read somewhere that when accidents involve alcohol and pedestrians, more than half are caused by the pedestrian being drunk and careless. I believe CELL PHONE USE may possibly be more responsible for deaths than alcohol at this point.

  2.  @SmallSpoonBrigade  I think the point is that most people just cruise through without actually stopping and checking with care. Stop signs do not work well if you just stop and go without checking.

  3. This its true and also applies to pedestrians who find it inconvenient to check if it's safe before crossing. Everybody on both sides should be taking more care.

  4. Everything is about the oppressed and the oppressor.  Take responsibility as a pedestrian and check both ways before crossing. Your life is worth more than your "Right of Way".
