I agree the Advantage plans suck and take advantage of people who are less inclined to think for themselves. When I retired I did a simple search for Medicare and became aware of this. Yes, salespeople will lie but I am conned much less if I question them and find the truth myself. The "Medicare School" channel is excellent in helping you weed through options and there are several others as well. I do agree that maybe some Democrat politicians could make a little effort with informing their constituents about this issue. Maybe I'm wrong, please inform me of any politicians fighting for better information for us citizens on this matter.
