Do you think the writers should have gotten some loose ends tied up before Ash officially made his exit from the anime like all his Pokémon except Pikachu fully evolved, him getting a Psychic and Fairy type Pokemon to complete his collection of Pokémon of different types, him getting an Eevee which should have happened during the Jhoto arc where he would have evolved it into Espeon, him catching a bird Pokémon from both the Alola region and the Galar region like Toucannon and Corviknight, Ash having another battle with Alain where he would have won and him getting more Pokémon from the Galar region especially one of the starter_Pokemon from that region? There are many more things to say but you can see where I'm going with this
