Sir Ol'dirty surely rests in peace hearing this sound! it's not that often when covers transcend the original version…even less often when it's one of the best hiphop song ever! i'm working on a dub cover of steve miller's "joker" on my old 800B sound craft and i must say you are really really inspiring! thanx!

  3. all of you girls n' guys be ready for the incoming release of the "lockless monsters" first  reggae roots cover album…followed by monthly posted and home made dub versions!!! we're now already composing our first LP, with our brand new compos, right after our cover album…so we 're looking for any kind of featuring (local or international), in order to compose and record new tunes at first, then, to create a collective of musicians ready to gather whenever our schedules, and positions on earth allow it, on the scene (we're now booking the year 2015, and it sounds really really promising!!!) to all those who dig the "old analogic sound", "fatty like", we're proposing recording sessions in our studio, on the "legendary 800B Soundcraft 32/8/8" that really really rocks the sound!!!we also have vintage amps and stuffs to "color" the sound…and this collection gets bigger every minute! we're based in the "good'ol" south west of France (near Toulouse), and we're coming to you for anything you would like to share with us… in case someone's interested, drop me a line, and then let's go, let's create a good vibe web!!! see y'all soon... all you riddim junkies!  from all the LOCKLESS MONSTERS

Prince Fatty TV hi brethren! i'm the drummer/singer/composer of a dub roots band formed a year ago in the south west of France (near Toulouse, where you'll be playing in the month of may)…we've bought an old 800B Soundcraft 32/8/8, and we're now recording covers inside my old 8 tracks and 4 tracks tape recorders…so, then we have separated tracks with good ol'fat analog sound, available for anyone who would make us the honor to dub our versions. i know it's a "long distance shot", but is there any chance we could send you our separated tracks?
