Also Indian school teachers are notoriously abusive. Thrashing students is very common, physical punishment is very intense. CCTV cameras records all the abuses. You can watch some of them on YouTube, just search for “school pitai”. The privacy and surveillance concerns are boutique issues. Only Rich people care about it, most folks don’t care and cctv doesn’t really change their behaviour or impact their actions (to an extent). A large gathering of people can really bring down the entire Govt system, so most of the time, The govt is more scared of people than the other way around.
