  1. "Court must not enter into a larger canvas of whether certain parts of the Quran are essential or not, as it does not arise for consideration over here". That is what the petitioner told the courts. I am aghast. We are telling the courts not to intervene in one religion, this is what our country has come to. This would be an outrageous thing to say in any democratic country.

  2.  @user-uh9bl6lg8w  nobody ever argued that Hinduism is exempt from the constitution. Neither did any Sikh, Jains, Christians, Jews, Parsis and Shias
