  1.  @sarvottamsingh93  this is a sure fire way to kill current jobs. Here's what'll happen - UKand govt. gives out free bijli, they won't pay for it, instead they'll charge businesses more money for electricity (someone needs to pay for distribution and production). Business shuts down because high electricity bill cuts into their margins and they can't compete. Another side effect is, disscoms will start rolling blackouts, because they can't afford to bleed anymore money over this reckless freebies. Either way businesses will get hit, they become uncompetitive and shut down. There goes your job and your bijli and you have to pay for it with your taxes that you earn while living in a slum in Delhi.

  2. These freebies aren't just expensive, they also hide the genuine structural issues with electricity production and distribution. Distribution is expensive because rather than put in money to fix the grid, we defer it's maintainance and let it rot. Discomms are bleeding money because Govt. forces them to give away free electricity with no compensation, they can't bill people for their usage and then they shut down plants because it's cheaper to not run them at all than give away free electricity. How about they promise to bring down electricity bills by 25% or something? Or regularize electricity distribution? But no, let's promise free stuff. Vote this idiot out, they bleed tax payer money and make us rot with their freebies and perpetuate the problem rather solving them.
