Harm reduction is good but it can't be the only thing we should be doing to reduce drug overdose problem. Right now all the focus has been on harm reduction and it's coming at the expense of other valid approaches like Drug enforcement, supply disruption, rehabilitation etc

@robk5865 yes precisely. We have a defunct drug enforcement and organized crime units. 15 years ago, RCMP organized crime unit was 200 strong. Today that number is close to 70 and they are bringing back retired officers. So we don't have enough officers to track criminal drug syndicates - the folks behind the fentanyl crisis. Safe supply has made this even worse. We let the govt provide drugs and let crime syndicates double dip on the druggies while taking the heat off them.
