  1. Treasury board was darn insensitive. Paying Federal worker a living wage is not "writing a blank cheque". Every $1 given to Federal worker creates $5 of economic value. Every $1 paid to CRA workers gets $3.5 of revenue for the Govt. The Treasury board is woefully out of touch.

  2.  @TheSilentGenesis  you can't automate tax audits. Automation on the other hand will greatly improve their productivity. Careful what you ask for, the CRA might have more time inspecting your tax returns while auditing corporates.
