Gobi Manchurian is actually a symbol of successful integration of Chinese culture into mainstream Indian culture. For folks who aren't aware, we have a very vibrant Chinese community in India (Pre-independence and more recent ones too). They invented Indo Chinese cuisine and all our fave Chinese dishes. This integration makes the CCP afraid to the core. It is a direct contradiction of their world view. That's probably why they hate us so much and keeps denying that we are a nation and a "union of states/coalition of tribes". In addition their wumaos always tries to stress that we were never united.

@perspective500 no Chinese has heard of it because according to the propaganda fed to then by the CCP is that a Chinese community cannot integrate themselves into a community to a point where they can invent and own a cuisine parallel to Mainland China.
