  1. TN is as castiest as Bihar. TN experiences a LOT of caste violence and most of it goes unreported. TN is just very smart about how they use caste. They will only speak about caste in Tamil and in English they will claim there's no caste. The only place where Caste is no longer an issue is Maharashtra and Gujarat. 20% of the population marry across caste lines.
