😂 and what happened before that wasn't oligarchic support? Industrialists and Entrepreneurs have always been roped into political campaign funding every since Nehru passed 1955 Avadi resolution. Electoral bonds or no bonds - there's no difference.

Instead the same set of transactions will be processed thru Shell companies. The reality is The Supreme court decision is more like putting lipstick on a pig. It will open up harassment of doners by opposition and it will end making the system more opaque than it already is.

Thoe big companies who want to donate will use Shell companies and smaller players will be harassed by your local goon. Entrench big Corp hold on political donations.
