When Ireland was going through a debt crisis, he was in favor of an Irish default because big banks could use some hurt. He was very much against regulations that would have helped Irish job creation. He strongly was against policies that helped Ireland become EU’s tech hub that it is today because it would have made Ireland dependent on USA. 12 years later he is going after India with his ideology. Lesson: Don’t trust left liberal economists. They only give you advice as per ideology - that’s the worst kind of advice you can receive.
